MCMITO 1.3.0 now available

Version 1.3.0 of MCMITO is now available.

The main addition is a fourth blood flow correction option, the incremental method of Beever et al. (2020), which sits alongside the three Ryan et al. (2012) methods in the Data Cleaning tab. Slope extraction now offers three windows: the full included window, the steepest sub-window and a new best-fit sub-window, which keeps the best-fitting segment of each occlusion (highest R², as used by Beever et al., or lowest RMSE).

The marker panel has also been redesigned. Markers are now placed from a guided checklist in either Auto Detect or Add Manually mode. Each click ticks off the next item, and any marker can be nudged, snapped to a peak or dragged into position. Blood flow correction and calibration now run as two numbered steps with a clear confirmation, and calibration can be undone. PDF reports include a methods section, and licence keys can be renewed from within the app. The update also fixes an issue where Compute slopes could appear unresponsive after entering certain values, such as a 0.75 s trim.

If you are running 1.1.0 or 1.2.0, go to Settings → About → Check for updates and the app will install 1.3.0 for you. Your licence key, its expiry and your preferences are kept. If you are on an earlier version, download the installer from the latest GitHub release (also linked from mcmito.com) and run it over your current installation. Sessions saved in 1.2.0 open as before.
